Founders’ Letter

In many ways, Oxy Worldwide has come a long way since its inception last spring. Sitting in the Marketplace on a sunny afternoon, brainstorming publication ideas, the two of us felt that our publication idea had a lot of potential. Countless edits, website alterations and correspondences later, the magazine has grown into a forum that will provide insights and entertainment for years to come.

As Oxy Worldwide got off the ground, we feared students would find the writing process burdensome. However, our inaugural contributors have demonstrated passion, patience, and dedication during article development. They all have produced quality work making us extremely proud to feature their narratives on Oxy Worldwide. As more story proposals have rolled in, the editorial staff has been forced to learn and adapt through an ever-increasing amount of challenges. These lessons have allowed us to advance our efficiency, and produce increasingly intriguing and informative pieces in the issues to come. As always, we look forward to both your suggestions and ideas, and encourage your submissions from abroad.
